Marian Aduckiewicz, VM, DFC August 02, 1917 - November 21, 2005 Suddenly on November 21, 2005, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 52 years of Josephine (nee Bialy) and father of Mary and Anne (Dave) Robinson, beloved Dziadziu of Katherine. Brother of Maria Chomicz of Poland. Uncle to Linda (Dan) Neville of Eganville, Cecilia Bialy of Sweden, Halinka Pietrzynski of Poland and Stanley Chomicz of Connecticut. Marian was a veteran of WWII serving in the Polish Air Force and 301-305 Squadrons of the Royal Air Force. Marian was awarded the Virtuti Militari and the Distinguished Flying Cross. Marian was an owner of Allied T.V. Service Ltd. for many years. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church (Barton and Sherman) on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marie Curie Sklodowska Polish Seniors Lodge.
