September 26, 1934 February 17, 2002 Veteran Korean War Member Royal Canadian Legion Br #174 Passed away in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Sunday evening, Norman Thomlison of The Grove Nursing Home and formerly of Braeside, age 67 years. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Heather Leckie (February 6, 2001). Dear father of Donna Prowse (Wally Lemay) of Winnipeg, Charles (Julie) Prowse of Braeside, Danna Prowse of Ottawa, Kimberley Prowse of Yellowknife, Dianna Thomlison (Jeff Longmire) of Arnprior, Kyle (Tina) Thomlison of Renfrew and Kent Thomlison of Braeside. Survived by 6 grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary (Carl) Sweet and Jean (Harvey) MacLean both of Braeside. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Lennis, Sydney, Carman and McLeod Thomlison, Marion Thomlison and Ella May Lebrun. Brother-in-law of Hazel Thomlison, Clarence Lebrun, Fred (Lois) Leckie, Howard (Dianne) Leckie, John (Barb) Leckie, Glen Leckie, Alice Munro and Maybourne Arsenault. Predeceased by his parents Norman Alexander Thomlison and Margaret Ethel Campbell. Resting at THE BOYCE FUNERAL HOME, CHAPEL, VISITATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior where friends may pay their respects Tuesday 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. and after 12 noon Wednesday. Funeral service will be conducted in The Chapel Wednesday February 20, 2002 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Richard Hollingsworth officiating. Spring interment Goshen Cemetery. In memoriams to Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital or Renfrew County Lung Association appreciated by his family. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 174 to gather for service Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. in Boyce Funeral Home. The Ottawa Citizen, 19-02-2002
