FERA, Teresa (Terry) nee Antoniazzi - 80 Years young - On December 12, 2008, at her home, Mom felt Dad's love around her and they danced together on their way to Heaven where she was met with open arms by our Lord, her family, her friends, and her mischievous Jazz, who have been waiting for her. Our social butterfly will always be remembered for her loving personality, boisterous laugh, and for always having her “sweets drawer and corner“ for her company to enjoy. Raised in Gatchell, Terry married John Fera from Coniston in 1949 and sadly lost him in 1993. Terry leaves her love and memories to her children, John Fera (Sandra Olson), Joan (Joe McColeman), and Alex Fera (Natalie); as well as to her precious grandchildren Katherine and Trevor Fera, Joey and Neil McColeman AND Carly Fera - their Nona loved them so very, very much, and was always there for them. Her sister Gina Tosato (Butch predeceased) and sisters-in-law Mary Antoniazzi (Lino predeceased) and Mary Bartolucci (Nando predeceased) will forever hold her in their hearts. Mom was also so happy to have her latest addition to our family - she leaves her love also to: Shelley and John Florio (Jenna, Peyton and Christian), Kari and Terry Kostiw (Devin, Brett and Colton), Kim Gauthier and Serge Pelland, and Bobbi Gauthier (Cole). She was predeceased by her parents, Giovanina (Palandra) and Marco Antoniazzi. She also lost her precious brother Lino in 2000 and will be so happy to hug him again. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will always have “Auntie Terry“ stories to share. Terry was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church and until recently was active with the St. Paul's Choir. She was a member of their CWL for 55 years. She was also a member of the Club Allegri in Coniston until the recent closing. Being a member (and past treasurer) of the Coniston Golden Age Club, she was able to play bocce and darts with her friends and attended many happy meetings with them. Her light will always shine brightly over all who knew her. The family would like to gratefully thank Dr. Tom Crichton, Sarah Crichton and Lori who put Mom first and were there for her always. Also our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pablo Cano and his nurses Audrey Oliver and Sue (and the loving nurses from chemo for over the past 23 years) for their amazing love and care. Thanks also to Cheryl and Bonita her PSWs for their tenderness with Mom. Family and friends may call 2 pm to 9 pm Sunday at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. Funeral Mass at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Monday December 15th, 2008 at 11 a.m in Coniston. Prayers 3 pm Sunday. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mom would appreciate donations to Vale Inco Sudbury Hospice, Warmhearts Association, Northeastern Ontario Cancer Centre. Flowers, donations or messages of condolence available online at www.lougheed.org. 11355760
