ANTONIONI, Irene Evelyn (nee Morelli) - In loving memory of Irene Evelyn Antonioni (nee Morelli) 75 years. Passed away after a long illness, Friday morning, December 12th, 2008 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Copper Cliff, she was married to Tom Antonioni (predeceased) who remained the eternal love of her life. A woman of strong faith, she was a Roman Catholic who belonged to St. Patrick's Church and parish CWL. She also was an active member of the Copper Cliff Italian Club. The Hallmark of Irene's character was a powerful yet quiet strength which she used, not to satisfy her own indulgences but to selflessly provide for others. She worked briefly as a designer in Montreal's fashion industry - a vocation she left in favour of becoming the loving matriarch of an expansive family. Beloved wife of Thomas Antonioni (predeceased 2005). Loving mother of Elaine (husband Mike Noble) and Paula (husband Luigi Tarini) both of Sudbury and John (wife Dawn MacKelvie) of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Erin, Cara, Kyle, Caston and Michaela. Dear daughter of Phillip and Landa Morelli predeceased. Dear sister of Kay Basso predeceased (husband Bucky) of Sudbury. Special sister of John Sylvestri (wife Gladys) of Sudbury and Gene Ceppetelli (wife Mary-Joyce) of Philadelphia, PA. Sadly missed by loving niece Jane (husband Rob Mazzuca) of Sudbury and many other nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Road Monday, December 15th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the family plot at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Donations to the Warm Hearts Association or Mass for the Shut Ins would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday). Flowers, donations or messages of condolence available online at www.lougheed.org. 11355747
