Freda Jane (MacInnes) Dyer A Celebration of Life for Freda Jane(MacInnes) Dyer of Centennial Row, Perth was held at the Wesleyan Church November 3, 2008 The family was led in by Amanda MacIntosh on the Bagpipe with "Amazing Grace" and for the Recessional, "Road To The Isles". Her Pastor Rev. Ryan Farrell officiated. A tribute on behalf of herself and her two sisters and the message was given by her youngest daughter Rev. Frances Dyer - Zimmerman. Her favourite hymn "The Blood Washed Pilgrim" and "Jewels" that was sung at her infant son Weldon's funeral were sung by the congregation. "Amazing Grace" was sung by Sylvia DeMerchant and "Supper Time" by John and Diana Swazey. A poem for the family was read by Emily DeMerchant, a longtime friend. Family Photographs and a Table of Remembrance filled the foyer. A time of fellowship followed with a lunch and a time of sharing memories. Her brother-in-law Lawrence Dyer spoke and sang "A Flower in the Master's Bouquet" A capella. Large Arrangements of a new Rose "Esperance" green with a bright pink edge and a creamy center decorated the front . Excerpt from her favourite poem. "The Children's Hour" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow "I have you fast in my fortress, And will not let you depart, But put you down into the dungeon In the round-tower of my heart.
