1940- 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Warren Draper of First River Eel Lake, New Brunswick. Dad left us on Thursday evening of October 23 suddenly at his cherished lakeside home. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Sandra (Steele), three children, Lisa Draper (Charles Fisher) of Saint John, Rob Draper of Jacksonville, and Karri Draper (Greg Hitchcock) of Borden Ontario. He will also be greatly missed as "papa at the lake" to five grandchildren, Emily, Laura, Benjamin, Tyler and Meaghan. He is survived by three sisters, Glenna Ketch (Wallace), Lillian Flewelling, and Margaret Jones, two brothers, Dean Draper (Annette) and Richard Draper (Allison) and his sisters in law and brother in laws, Marilyn and Glenn Melvin, Jim and Lois Steele. He was also known as "Uncle Bobby" to many dear nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Robert Nelson Draper; mother Laura Draper (McHatten), brother in laws, Ken Flewelling, Keith Jones, Allan Cluff and sister in law Sally Cluff. He leaves behind a wonderful group of dear friends at the lake, Betty, Stan, Miriam, Cyril, Brian, Wayne, Reid and many more. You all were a great source of joy to him and our family thanks you for your kindness and support. Bob loved nature and all outdoor activities. He was an avid bridge player, artist, builder, designer, sports fan (go Hobs go) and lived his life to the fullest. By request, the family held a private service on Saturday Oct. 25 2008. Many thanks to family and friends who have sent food, flowers, donations and cards and support during this difficult time. He will be missed incredibly by all those he touched but remembered with great affection as a proud, humble family man who loved without boundaries and was and is still loved the same. Fare thee well, love Fare thee well, love Far away, you must go Take my heart, love Take my heart, love until we finally meet again.
