M. LUCIEN ST-LAURENT est décédé le vendredi 15 août 2003, à l'âge de 89 ans. Il était l'époux bien-aimé de Françoise Brind'Amour; le cher père de: André (Jocelyne Bonesso), Paul (Jill Rodney), Gilles (Suzan Haigh), Luc (Assalla Razanamalala) et Claire (Ian Robinson). Il laisse aussi ses petits-enfants: Michèlle, Justin, Julie, Simon et Yann. Il fut prédécédé par sa soeur Antoinette Hurteau. Il repose à la MAISON FUNÉRAIRE RACINE, ROBERT & GAUTHIER, 180, ch. Montréal (241-3680), le lundi 18 août 2003 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les funérailles seront célébrées mardi en l'église St-Thomas D'Aquin, 1244, Place Kilborn, à 11h. Des dons à l'hôpital St-Vincent ou à l'hôpital des vétérans Perley Rideau, seraient appréciés. He will be greatly missed by Francoise, his wife of 47 years, and their five children and families: sons Andre and his wife Jocelyne Bonesso; Paul and his wife Jill Rodney; Gilles, his wife Susan Haigh and their children Justin and Simon; Luc, his wife Asalla Razanamalala and their son Yann; and by their daughter Claire, her husband Ian Robinson and their daughters Michelle and Julie. Predeceased by his sister Antoinette Hurteau. A photographer by passion and by profession, Lucien worked at the Department of Agriculture as research photographer from 1938 to 1972, then for the Ottawa General Hospital where he set up and ran the medical communications department from 1972 to 1983. He was loved by all for his patient, gentle and insightful nature, ready laugh, and wry sense of humour, which he kept until the end. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Perley-Rideau Veterans' Health Centre. Family will receive friends at Racine, Robert et Gauthier Maison Funeraire, 180 Montreal Road (241-3680) on Monday, August 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Eglise St-Thomas d'Aquin, 1244 Kilborn Place, Ottawa, on Tuesday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. donations can be made to Saint-Vincent Hospital or the Perley-Rideau Veterans' Health Centre.
