Mr. Edmond Joseph Hebert, husband of Joan (Lee) Hebert of South Nelson, Miramichi, passed away Sunday evening at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 63. Born in Allainville, he was the son of Mrs. Margaret (Gauvereau) Hebert and the late Lionel Hebert. He was a self employed mechanic. He was a member of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. Besides his wife Joan, he is survived by one daughter; Rhonda Hebert (William) of Carroll's Crossing; two sons; Danny Hebert of Miramichi; Joel Hebert (Marie) of Miramichi; eight sisters; Irene Savard; Mariette Girouard (Roger); Patsy Bushey (George); Rolande Duguay; Jacqueline Doucette (Ernest); Pauline Gallant (Leonard); Elizabeth Jardine (Mark); Carmella Jardine (Peter); four brothers; John (Anne); Morris (Mary Anne); Rheal (Pearl); Julien (Barb); five grandchildren; Jordan, Talon, Jenna, Drake and Devon. Besides his father he was predeceased by one sister Claudette Girouard and two brothers; David and Lionel Jr. Mr. Edmond Joseph Hebert rested at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Tuesday, from 7 to 9 and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday October 23, 2008, at 11 a.m. from St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Nelson Miramichi, with Father Jim McQuade officiating. Prior to the Mass soloist and guitarist Jeff Hogan rendered "He Walked on Water" and "Seven Spanish Angels". Soloist and guitarist Paula Foley rendered "Here I Am Lord", "I Watch the Sun Rise" and "Peace Is Flowing Like a River". Soloist and guitarist Shepherd Arbeau rendered "Some Call It Heaven, I call it Home" and "Stroll Over to Heaven with You". The readings were by Candace Bushey, Nancy Vautour and Becky Girouard. Burial followed in the church cemetery. At the request of the family donations to Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Society or Schlerderma Research would be appreciated. Active Pallbearers were: Danny Hebert, Joel Hebert, Jordan Hebert, Maurice Hebert, Julien Hebert and Tony Duguay. Honorary Pallbearers were: John Hebert, Rheal Hebert, David Lee, Bobby Lee, Dougie Lee, Bruce Lee, John Miller, Jimmy Vautour, Henry Beaule, Wally Duguay, Kenny Watters, William Lyons, Michael Watt, and Raymond Savard.
