Mary Anne Dickson, wife of Wilmer C. Dickson, of the North Napan Road, passed away at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, early Monday morning, November 17, 2008, at the age of 67. Born in Pokemouche, on March 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanne (Landry) Arseneau. She was a homemaker and attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. She is survived by her husband, Wilmer C. Dickson; one daughter, Sylvia Brown (Don), of North Napan Road; one son, Roger Dickson, of Napan; four grandchildren, Alex, Ryan, Matthew and Colby; six sisters, Jeannine Duplessie (Telesphore), of Little Branch, Evangeline Daigle (Gerald), of Miramichi, Simonne Wormell (Lloyd), of Upper Napan, Irene Cable (Percy), of Upper Napan, Agathe Arseneau, of Miramichi, Cecile Webster (Albert), of Oromocto; four brothers, John Paul Arseneau (Mary Louise), of Scarborough, Ont., John Guy Arseneau (Ruth), of Oromocto, John Marie Arseneau (Joan), of Miramichi, Gerard Arseneau, of Napan. She was predeceased by one sister, Margaret Arseneau. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Wednesday, with vigil prayers held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, led by Father John Fraser. The Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. Michaels Basilica, on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser, assisted by Rev. Charlene Maguire-MacKnight. The music for the Mass was provided by Mrs. Norma Sudgen and the hymns were "Seek Ye First", "In The Sight Of The Angels", "My Soul Is Longing", "Shelter Me O God", "On Eagles Wings", "Here I Am lord". The scriptures were read by Cecile Webster and Jean Paul Arseneau. The Prayers of the People were led by Jean Paul Arseneau. The pallbearers were Frank Dickson, Allen Dickson, Roger Dickson, Alex Brown, Lloyd Godfrey and Harold Russell. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi.
