WILLIAM JAMES BOOTH Booth - William Booth passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at the Englehart and District Hospital, surrounded by family. Mr. Booth had fought a long courageous battle with cancer. William was born August 23, 1933 in Matheson to Arthur Melvin and Violet Booth. He was a long time resident of Matheson and moved to Tomstown 12 years ago. Bill loved hunting and fishing and has travelled most of this country. He is survived by his loving wife Alice; son William (Opal) of Elliot Lake; Marilyn (Don) Heavens of Latchford; Sharon Booth of Matheson; Melvin of Englehart; James (Kristine) of Englehart; Penny Booth of Toronto; Rodney of Englehart. Grandchildren; Laura, BillieJo, Angela, Cory, Ben, Phillip, Christopher and William. Great-grandfather of Preston, Haley, Nicky, Karla, Terrance and Sandra. Dear brother of Maxine (Don) MacMillian of South Porcupine; Betty (Calvin) Bush of Nova Scotia; Elena (John) Klees of Matheson; Herb (Diane) of Ramore; Lorne Joseph of British Columbia, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents, and brother Arthur of Edmonton. The Booth family will welcome friends at the Hi-Way Pentecostal Lighthouse in Englehart, on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jason and Pastor Paul Douglas will officiate the service. Spring interment of the ashes will take place in the Matheson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to The Daffodil Terrace, 41 Ramsey Road, Sudbury, Ontario P3E 5J1 will be gratefully acknowledged.
