ROGER CORBEIL 1931 - 2004 Corbeil - The family announces with great sorrow the death of Roger Corbeil at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by his father Conrad and brother Fernand in 1990, both of Montreal, PQ. Loving son of Germaine of Montreal, Quebec. Beloved husband of Suzanne (Nee Daoust). Dear father of Gilles Corbeil (wife Christina) of Schefferville, P.Q., Joanne Coupland (husband Steve) and Monique Levere (husband James) of Timmins. Special grandfather of Noah, Roger, Allan, Christian, Mary, Josephine, Natalie, Sebastien, David, Selena Ann, James, Robert, Andrew and Alexander. Great grandfather of 7 great grandchildren. Brother in-law of Rene Daoust of St. Anicet, P.Q., Helen Gray, Armand, Jackie Daoust and Pierrette all of Virginiatown and Annette Corbeil of Montreal, P.Q. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Roger was born in Montreal, P.Q. on July 22, 1931. He moved his family to Virginiatown where he resided for 40 years and worked at Kerr Addison Mine for 30 years time. He will be missed by many friends in Virginiatown where he was a member of the XYZ Club. Roger moved to Timmins in the year 2000 where he made his new home, he was a member of the Good Companion Seniors Club of Timmins. Roger loved fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. His latest passion was spending time at his camp at Old Mill camp ground. Cremation will take place and a gathering will follow on Monday, August 9th at 11 am at St. Peter’s Apostle Parish Hall in North Virginiatown, to celecelebrate Roger’s life.
