Dear grandmother of Dominique Fournier, Benoit et Josee Babineau, Marie-Eve, Gabrielle, Emmanuel and Gloray Champion. Sister of Oliva “Joe” (Late Eva and Late Francoise) Champion of Trois Rivières, Quebec, Antoinette (Amede) Bourque of Timmins, Jean-Marie (Germaine) Champion of Timmins, Andre (Cecile) Champion of Timmins, Eugene (Louisette) Champion of St. Felix, Quebec, Paul Emile (Claire) Champion of Timmins, Francoise (Gerald) Fleury of Timmins, Emilio (Suzanne) Champion of Timmins, Solange Champion of Montreal and a sister-in-law Laurette (late Alcide Champion) of St. Zacharie, Quebec. She will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews as well as brothers and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by her parents Alphonse & Valeda Champion, her son Jacques, her brother Alcide and sister and brother-in-law Anne Marie & Gerald Harvey. Gilberte was born in St. Zacharie, Quebec and was living in Chapleau for many many years. She was a proud member of “Les femmes chrétiennes de Chapleau”. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Dominique Church. Cremation will follow.
