The memorial service for Hearst resident Bernadette (née Lachance) Sigouin, 66, of 1322 Alexandra St. is to be held (today) March 3, 2004. She died at Notre-Dame Hospital, Feb. 28, following a stroke. Born May 5, 1937 in Hallébourg, she was a jovial person who enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. An active member of the Club soleil des aîné-e-s seniors club, she participated in local Senior Games. Predeceased by her sisters Cécile, Gilberte, Louiselle and Rose-Aimée, and brothers Julias, Romuald, Yves and Gilles Lachance, she leaves husband Gérard Sigouin of Hearst and daughter Chantale Moreau (Luc Lozier) of Hallébourg. Also surviving are her sisters Laurentia Hébert of Hearst, Jeannine Bureau of Jogues, and Dolorès Garneau of Manitoba, her brother Laurent (Mireille) Lachance of Val Côté, and grandsons Rock and Ricky Moreau. Rev. Rémi Lessard is to direct the 10:30 a.m. service at Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral.
