BISHOP, BEULAH BLANCHE Beulah Blanche Bishop, born in Union Settlement on January 19th, 1914, she was the wife of the late Harry Bishop, and the daughter of the late Robert and Addie (Grant) Barton. Beulah moved to Chipman in 1938, where she worked at the Chipman House Hotel for seven years. There she met and married Harry Bishop in 1945. Survived by one son, Jerry Bishop (Anne), of Chipman, NB; one daughter Dixie Lee Armstrong (Michael McTiernan), of Minto, NB; two grandsons, Dwayne Bishop (Debbie), of Chipman and Troy Bishop of Toronto, ON; and one great grandson, Cody Bishop, of Chipman; several nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, her church family, and her special feline companion, Molly. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 1959; and a brother, Cyril Barton in 1976. She was a member of the 2nd United Baptist Church, Sunday School, Women's Missionary Society (life member) and partner of World Vision since 1968. Beulah's family will receive visitors at the Minto Funeral Home on Monday, August 7th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the 2nd Chipman United Baptist Church with the Rev. Harry Branscombe officiating. Interment will take place in the Chipman Baptist Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society, World Vision, or the Women's Missionary Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Minto Funeral Home (327-3490).
