GUILD, RITA E. The passing of Rita Evelyn Guild of Fredericton and formerly of North Hatley, Quebec, occurred peacefully at the Hanwell Special Care Home, Hanwell, NB on Monday, August 7, 2006 at the age of 80. Born in Stanstead, Quebec on July 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Monty Fred and Elizabeth Ida (Hartwell) Dezan. Rita was Anglican by faith and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. She is survived by five children, Donna Call and husband Andre of Calgary, Barry Guild and Linda Athas of Red Lake, Ont., Garry Guild and wife Joan Green of Fredericton, Fred Guild and wife Charlotte of Blairmore, Alberta and Timothy Guild of North Hatley, Quebec; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, husband Jack Guild and a son Dennis Guild. There will be no visitation or funeral service in Fredericton. A memorial service will be held in North Hatley, Quebec, at a later date. The family have suggested memorial contributions be sent to the Alzheimer Society.
