CLERKE, EARL GEROUGH REV. The death of Rev. Earl Clerke of Rusagonis, NB, occurred at home on Tuesday, August 8th, 2006. Born in Albert Mines, Albert County, NB, he was the son of the late Emery and Effie (Milton) Clerke and the husband of Carol (Hamilton) Clerke. During Earl's earlier years he worked for Sumner Co. in Moncton. It was in 1977 he felt called of the Lord to enter full time ministry. Rev. Earl Clerke's call to service led him to many churches in New Brunswick. Survived by his wife, Carol; one son David (Carol) of Beaverdam, NB ; two daughters, Catherine Clerke of Rusagonis, and Ruth Anne Rhyno (Rev. James) of Grand Falls, NB; grandchildren, Emily, Julia and James Rhyno, Elijah and Joshua Clerke; two brothers, Russell of Riverview, and Randolph (Marion) of Dieppe; and uncle Gerald Milton of Albert Mines and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Leon, Charles and Major Blair Clerke. Visitation will be held at Faith United Baptist Church, 525 New Maryland Hwy. on Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Church on Friday, August 11th, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Larry Matthews will officiate. Interment will be at the Fairhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
