
JOHNSON, MARK MERLYN (1914 - 2006) - The death of Mark Johnson of Downsview, ON, formerly of Clarendon, NB, husband of Shirley (Archibald) Johnson, occurred at York Finch Hospital, Toronto, Thursday, August 17, 2006. Born on May 9, 1914 at Johnson Settlement, Mark was a son of the late Elijah and Hannah (Collicott) Johnson. Mark lived in Clarendon and was the husband of the late Alma (Wheaton) Johnson, who passed away in 1980. He is survived by wife Shirley; children Lorraine (Fred) Boone of Millidgeville, Darryl (Lois) of St. Catherines, ON, Sharon (David) Blagdon of Westfield, Brian (Colleen) of Clarendon, Linda (James) Negus of Westfield, Kevin (Kristina) of Clarendon; step children William (Carol) MacDonald of Toronto, Betty-Ann Thompson (Bryan Toner) of Toronto, Henry Thompson of Bleim, ON; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister Myrtle Yerxa of Meductic and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Mildred Williams, Lucy Grant, Helen Worden, Ruby Johnson, Edna Hannan and Jennie MacDonald; brothers Samuel, Lee, Andrew, Carl, David and Douglas; step granddaughter Jennie Lee Thompson.
