TAYLOR, Dorothy Veronica - Peacfully at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham, on Monday, August 21, 2006, Dorothy Veronica Taylor, age 91, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Charles “Chuck“ Taylor (1998). Born in Chatham in 1914, daughter of the late Mary Lorida Normandin and James Edward Etches, Dorothy was a member of St.Ursula's Church as well as the Catholic Women's League. She was also a former employee of St.Joseph's Hospital and had 4 years of Active Duty R.C.A.F.W.D. Loving mother of Marian Carriere and her husband Andre of Charbot Lake, Margaret A. Taylor of Chatham and Brian Taylor and his wife Cathy of Chatham. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren; Anita Mills, Michael J. and Bradley S. Carriere, Jason Verkaik, Lisa and Amie Lynn Taylor, and 11 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by 2 brothers; Archie and Claude Etches and a sister Mary Swayze. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday August 24, 2006 where Parish Prayers will be offered 3:45p.m on Thursday, followed by members of the Catholic Women's League Prayers. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday August 25, 2006 at 10a.m in St.Ursula's Church. Burial will be in Old St. Anthony's Cemetery.
