PIERSON, Norman - Formerly of Niag. Falls, Ont. Born Mar. 6, 1929. Passed away July 29, 2006 at Kelowna General Hospital of Cancer. Norm attended Maple ST. School and Niagara Falls Collegiate before moving west. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Iona (Jackie) Pierson, children Nancy (Kirk) Hammer, Lori and Steven Pierson, Gail Fritson and seven grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister Iris (Len) Moore and sister-in-law Wilma Pierson, both of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Elizabeth Pierson and brother Harry. Norm began his career as a Mechanic for American Motors in B.C. and as Property Management with his wife in Calgary before retiring to Westbank in 1988.
