DE GIACOMO, Maria (Pirillo) suddenly, surrounded by her loving family at the Welland County General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the age of 64. Beloved wife and soulmate of 44 years to Luigi De Giacomo. Cherished and devoted mother of Lucy (Mike) Urso and Sarina (Joe) Mambella. Nanna will be greatly missed and remembered forever by her grandchildren Benjamin, Apollo and Natasha. Loving daughter of Assuntina and the late Santo Pirillo. Dear sister of Giuseppe (Maria) Barletta, Silvio (the late Rosetta) Pirillo, Giovanni (Maria) Pirillo, Emma (Mario) Mauro, Liberata (Paolo) Presutti and Rosaria (Fernando) Berardi. Predeceased by brother Francesco, survived by his wife Maria Pirillo. Maria will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Maria was an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold and greatly devoted to Padre Pio. Maria's family will receive their family and friends at the LAMB-BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen St. S., Thorold on Saturday at 10 a.m. The Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Fonthill.
