WINGER, Elva - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Northland Pointe in her 89th year. Loving mother to Robert Winger (Marion) of Welland and Douglas Winger (Crystal) of Brighton. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Mark, Scott, Sarah, Susan and Paul as well as her great-grandchildren Colton, Matthew, Scott, John, Laura, James and Rebecca. Elva is survived by her brothers and sisters John, Martha, Robert and Jane and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Central United Church and was a Superintendent of Sunday Schools. The Winger Family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2006 in the Armstrong Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. George Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Beach Cemetery, Sherkston. If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of Central United Church or to Northland Pointe.
