MADSEN, Mary “Olive“ (Keenan) - On Sunday August 13, 2006 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late lacrosse great Carl “Gus“ Madsen (1961). Sadly missed by her children Cheryl Maurice (Barry), Ken Madsen (Joanne). Much loved grandmother of Michael Madsen (Theresa), Dionne Kukoly (Andrew), Mark Madsen, Lisa Maurice Spencer (John) and Katharine Maurice. Great-grandmother of Carl John, Alexandra and Lindsey. Olive will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. She was a lifetime member of the CWL. Mrs. Madsen is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Denis Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial remembrances to the St. Catharines General Hospital NHS Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
