BEDFORD, Anne (Sutcliffe) - Born in Midgley, England on Jan. 20th, 1922. Passed away Aug. 14th, 2006. Predeceased by husband Jack (1989). Surviving her are her daughters Cecile and Erica, grandsons Dan and Greg, granddaughter Marissa, great-grandsons Christopher, Morgan and Gordon. Her many friends, especially the ladies of the Thursday Card Club will sadly miss her. In her busy life, Anne was a meticulous and gifted perfectionist. She enjoyed the fine arts, travel, reading, crafting and social gatherings with family and friends. She was involved with the Ontario Literacy Coalition and taught English as a second language. We will surely miss her brave character and sharp wit. She often said “Life is not for the weak.“ Special thanks to Dr. Dennis Witty for his years of service. A private graveside service with interment took place at St. John's Cemetery in Port Dalhousie on Thursday August 17, 2006. There will never be anyone like Anne again.
