COLFORD, ANNA "ANNIE" MARGARET The passing of Anna "Annie" Margaret Colford, wife of Leo Colford, of Cross Creek, NB, occurred on August 21, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 9, 1930 in Howard, NB, she was a daughter of the late Harrison and Julie (Kervin) Colford. Anna was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Stanley, NB. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Kenneth (Helen) of Stanley, Perry (Mary Jane) of Stanley, Maxwell (Carmen) of Taymouth and Ronnie (Joanne) of Green Hill; eight daughters, Alice (Fred) Veno of Blissfield, Betty (Edwin) Donnally of Cross Creek, Bernice (Darrel) Green of Stanley, Wilma (Gilbert) Thibodeau of Doaktown, Judy (Greg) Kirby of Green Hill, Valerie Colford of Cross Creek, Florence (Donald) Colford of Doaktown and Faye (Philip) Colford of Doaktown; 27 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; four brothers, Allie, Carl, James all of Weaver Siding and Wallace (Dorothy) of Blissfield; two sisters, Edna Colford and Jean Storey both of Weaver Siding; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by one granddaughter Amanda Colford and grandsons Jimmy Lee and Joel Colford; two brothers, Wallace and Philip; four sisters, Flora Caissie, Louise Woodcock, Helena Colford and Freda Colford. Visitation will take place at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Stanley, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 11 am with Father Maurice Swift as celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, to St. Patrick's Church Building Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
