Muriel Glendine Fenton 1915-2006 Muriel Fenton, 91, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview and formerly of Curryville, Albert Co., NB passed away peacefully on August 24, 2006 at the nursing home. Muriel was born in Curryville on May 11, 1915 the daughter of the late Lewis and Amelia Hawkes. Muriel worked at T Eaton Company for 27 years until her retirement. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, her family was her life. She was active in the Curryville United Church serving as an Elder and also having Bible Study at her house every Wednesday morning for years. She was also a member of the Freda Campbell Missionary Group. Muriel was a sweet lady who always helped anyone in need and she was known for her hospitality. She was like a mother to many people. She will be remembered for her loving ways, her kindness and her big smile. She will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. She will be deeply missed by her loving son, Stanley; daughter-in-law, Shirley (Wells) Fenton of Hillsborough; also by her cherished grandson, Shayne and his wife, Bonny (Moss) Fenton of Riverview. She is also survived by several neices and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband Russell Fenton in 1992 and by a brother, Kelsey (Helen); sisters, Eunice Smith (Alvin), Eileen Toole (Vincent) and Leona Seniuk (Ed). The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, August 27th, 2006 at 2pm with Pastor Russell Coates officiating. Immediately following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and refreshments at the funeral home. Muriel will be laid to rest with her husband in the Curryville United Cemetery, Curryville, NB. Donations to the Curryville United Cemetery or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
