BERARDI, Elvira (nee Romagnino). 1930-2006. In Montreal, peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer on July 28, 2006, she left us to join her beloved husband, Domenic. She was surrounded on a daily basis by her loving children Bob (Linda), Ronny, Roger and Angie (Taido),as well as her adoring grandchildren Jennifer (Jeff), Diana (Angelo), Domenic, Michael, Chris, Daniel and Alessi, her brothers Orlando (Antoinette), Rudy (Lucy), sister-in-law Marlene (the late Ronald). She will be remembered for her devotion to family and friends, her laugh, love of teddy bears and playing cards with her grandchildren which led to games of Scopa, even during her final days in hospital. The family would like to thank the staff of the Jean Talon Hospital Palliative care unit for their devotion and compassion during her final two month stay. Resting at: Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Notre Dame de la Consolata Church, 1700 Jean-Talon E. at 11:15 a.m., thence to Cote des Neiges cemetery.
