FLING, Ernie Peacefully at home on Sunday, July 30, 2006, Ernie Fling of Ottawa, formerly of Williamsburg, age 90. Beloved husband of the late Alice Barkley and the late Marguerite Dillen. Dear step-father of Eva Buckton of Ottawa. Step father-in-law of Paul Henophy of R.R.# 2 Ingleside. Ernie will be fondly remembered by grandsons Rick Henophy, Don (Ann) Buckton, Dwayne Buckton and great-grandsons Chris, Colin, and Matthew. Predeceased by a step-daughter Rosemarie Henophy and brothers Charles and George. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 2nd at 11 a.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery, Chesterville. Donations to Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Patrick's Home in Ottawa for the friendship they extended to Ernie during his twice weekly visits to attend the friendship program at the home.
