DAROU, Gertrude (Trudy) (nee Goodland). Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, November 22, 1916. Died on July 25, 2006 in Kelowna, BC. Predeceased by her husband T.H. (Jimmie) Darou. Survived by her beloved son, Donald Darou, daughter-in-law Tammy and two grandchildren, Laura and Kristin of Chateauguay, QC, one brother, William (Bill) Goodland of Verdun, QC and devoted sister Florence Ross and brother-in-law Jim Ross of Westbank, BC and nephews and nieces. Funeral at 2 p.m., Monday August 7 in Pointe Claire, QC at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, Cartier Ave. Burial to follow at Rideau Memorial Cemetery, Sources Rd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
