MARNO, William John - "Bill" at the age of 73, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side, while enjoying his favourite past-time, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, May 4, 2004. Beloved husband of Mary for 49 years. Loving father of Anne and her husband Herman Heikoop and Theresa and her husband Fred Maiuri and father-in-law of Marisa Marno. Cherished Grandpa of Christopher, Gregory and Brandon Heikoop, Alicia Mauiri and Laura and Lisa Marno. Dear brother of Charlotte (Ted) Kudlac, Theresa (Monte) Catherwood, Rose Jenson, Charles (Glynnis) Marno. Brother-in-law of Liz Convery, Nan Craven, Helen (Tom) McQueen, Margaret (Frank) Payne, John (Renee) Leonard, Catherine Graham, Thomas Leonard, Charles Leonard, Patricia (Peter) Parks and Dennis (Lahkatee) Leonard. Bill was predeceased by his son William (December 2002) and his parents William and Theresa Marno. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill was an honourary member of the Knights of Columbus Hennepin Council # 1652 and a long time member of St. Thomas More Church. Friends are invited to call at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St., for visiting on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The Vigil for Mr. Marno will be celebrated on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and members of the Knights of Columbus Hennepin Council # 1652 will attend the Vigil.
