McRAE, Catherine V. "Tootsie" 1917 - 2006 Sadly, but with grateful thanksgiving for her life, the family announces the passing of their mum, "Tootsie" Catherine Victoria McRae. She passed peacefully in her home in Dunvegan on Sunday, August 6, 2006. Predeceased by her husband, George in 1980; siblings Duncan Alex, Cameron, Rachel, Chisholm, Willie, Donald, Gretta and Myrtle. Also predeceased by her parents, Duncan William MacLeod and Catherine Chisholm MacLeod. Dearly loved mother of Glen (MaryAnne), Shirley (Bryan), Phyllis (Blake) and Doris (David). Cherished grandmother of Chad, Serena (Brian), Jason, Shannon, Heather, Adam (Allison) and Christie (Jamie) and great-grandmother of Jesse, Ryan and Bridan. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation or Canadian Immunology Deficiency Society would be appreciated by the family.
