McCARTHY, Raymond Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Wednesday, August 9th, 2006 Raymond McCarthy at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Helena F. (McInnes) Hanna-McCarthy. Raymond will be sadly missed by his daughters Shirley (Germain) Simard of North Bay and Linda (Ron) Ashton of Sudbury, his grandchildren Stephen, Karen (David), Laura (Rob), Marc (Mandy), Brian (Angie) and Danny as well as great grandchildren Alex, Abby and Mason, step-daughter Barb (Ron) Morrow and step-son Greg (Colleen) Hanna. He was predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth (Cooper) McCarthy, daughter Dianne, parents Dennis and Elizabeth McCarthy of Westport and seven brothers and three sisters. Raymond was the last surviving member of his generation, all who were born and raised on the family farm in Westport Ontario. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street W., Perth Thursday, August 10th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, August 11th from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Perth Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Edward's Cemetery, Westport.
