SPENCER, Gwendoline (nee Graham) With grace and peace, supported by family, friends and prayers, Gwen passed away, at the Canmore General Hospital, on August 20, 2006, after a decade-long struggle with breast cancer. Born in Liverpool, England, February 12, 1932, married John 1958, and moved to Canada 1966. Mother of Claire (Roland Lechner), Jayne (Rick Hill) and Elaine (Tim Lang). Loving Grandmother of Sarah, Morgan, Breanne, Caitlyn, Kathryn and Toben. Gwen is also survived by her sister Audrey Kirvan, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Gordon, her brother Clifford, brothers-in-law Tom and Douglas and nephew John Douglas. Funeral service and celebration of Gwen's life will take place at Ralph Connor United Church, in Canmore, Alberta at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 25, 2006. Reception to follow at the church.
