MARQUIS, Eugene C. (Retired Professor of Classics, PhD) (Heritage College) Peacefully at home after a brief illness on Sunday August 20, 2006 at the age of 66. Loving husband of Denise (nee Gelinas). Proud father of Joseph (Melanie May) and Chris (Wendy Herring). Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Emma and Sophie. He will also be dearly missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, friends, colleagues and former students. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd.
