BRADFORD, Claire Amelia (nee Detwilier). Passed away quietly at Residence Monaco on August 27, 2006 in her ninety-fourth year. Second wife of the late Elwood Joseph Bradford and former step-mother of William Bradford. Daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Detwilier and the late Amelia Elmira Maldeis. Predeceased by her brothers, Elmer Franklin Detwilier (July 18, 1970), and Glen Howard Detwilier (August 1, 1975). She is survived by two nieces, Gail Burton (Thomas) and Claire Lund (Richard), one grandniece and four grandnephews, all of California, U.S.A. She will be fondly remembered by all her friends and by her granddaughter Sandra Bradford-Macalanda and her husband Sonny Macalanda. A private committal service will be held in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
