BANNING, George J. WWII Veteran Peacefully on August 29th, 2006, at the age of 82, with family by his side at Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre. George is predeceased by his parents Charles & Blanche, his brothers William, Stanley & Edward and sister Martha. Uncle George will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A special thanks to all of the staff and residents of Perley Rideau Veterans' who took such loving care of our Uncle George for so many years. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre (1750 Russell Rd., Ottawa).
