SLOW Stanley Albert William 1907 - 2006 Stan passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2006. Born in London, England, he came to Canada with his family at the age of five and settled in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Following school, he was employed in the accounting department of Robin Hood Mills. Stan married Mabel Davidson in 1933 and jointly they owned and operated a Red & White Store in Moose Jaw. The store was later sold and he worked for R.T. Williams in Moose Jaw until retirement. Stan and Mabel moved to Sidney, B.C. in 1973 and they enjoyed retirement there to the fullest. He was predeceased by Mabel in 1994 and subsequently came to live in Calgary. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Sheila Runquist (Len Schnell); grandson Jeffrey Runquist (Corrine Kibsey), their children, Avery, Miller and Amy; granddaughter Jocelyn Runquist (Dan Renaud) and their children, Renee and Joel. Stan is also survived by his sister Dorothy and niece Wendy Jinks of Regina as well as several nephews and their families.
