GUY, Léon - In loving memory of Léon Guy who passed away in Sudbury, surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Tuesday May 9th, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Son of the late Adelard Guy and of the late Joséphine Guy-Beaulieu (née Villemaire). Beloved husband of Laurette Guy (née Gauthier) of Coniston. Loving father of Madeleine Kramer (Frank), Pauline Briscoe (Allan), Gérard (Zoe Brooks-Guy) and Lise Plante (Denis) all of Sudbury. Dear brother of Irène Lavoie (late Henri), Aline Comtois (late Hector) and Jean-Paul (Lucille) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by his sisters Eléonore Prévost (Henri) and Laurina Beaulieu (late Donat). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Carole, Natalie, Joey, Michael, Darryl, Brian, Kevin, Eric, Mélanie, Jared and his great- grandchildren Kyle, Kendra, Danica, Jessica, Kaylee and Brooke. Mr. Guy was a retired INCO employee and a member of the Knights of Columbus of Coniston. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and bowling. The family will receive friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., East (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday May 11th, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
