GILMOUR K.B. (Bud) K.B. (Bud) Gilmour died peacefully from natural causes in Calgary, May 9, 2006 with family at his side. He was born August 19, 1920 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where he lived until he enlisted in the army. As a World War II vet, he participated in the liberation of Holland. He was a resident of Jasper for many years where he worked for Parks Canada and received an honorary lifetime National Parks Warden title upon his retirement. Bud was twice president of Jasper Legion and a thirty-six-year member. He was a man with a big heart and lots of love for his family. Bud was predeceased by his wife Kay, daughter Daphne and son Ted. He will be missed by his surviving children, daughters, Wendy (Ed) Dolny of Calgary, Alberta, Shereen (Pete) Ewanchook of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and son Milt (Barb) Gilmour of Jasper, Alberta, as well as his many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in Jasper at a later date.
