LAGERWAARD Dr. John (Johannes) June 3, 1927 - May 24, 2006 John (Johannes) Lagerwaard, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2006 in Salmon Arm, B.C. He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Broonita Lagerwaard of Salmon Arm; his daughter, Tamiko Lagerwaard and son-in-law Mike Carroll of Calgary, Alberta; and sister Nel Slinger (Netherlands). Born in Den Haag, Netherlands June 3, 1927, John came to Canada from the Netherlands in 1955 and brought with him his love for nature, photography, fishing, reading, cartoons and science fiction. How many fun hours we spent laughing and watching Bugs Bunny and Star Trek while eating ice cream and cookies! U was altijd zo'n een snoopert!
