JARVIS Irene 1924 - 2006 Following a brief illness, Irene Jarvis (nee Bradley) of Calgary passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of May 25, 2006. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-four years Frederic, and her only son Paul (Virginia) of Stony Plain, Alberta. Irene was born in Otley, Yorkshire, England and was a talented artist and tailor. She followed her dreams to Canada in 1952, settling initially in Winnipeg, and then moving to Calgary in 1956. She had a successful career as a Bookkeeper and became an award winning Executive Assistant before focusing on her favorite role as homemaker and full time mother. Irene loved to sew, knit, and grow flowers, but was never happier than when she had an opportunity to visit the ocean. A private family ceremony will follow Cremation. Memorial donations in her honour can be made to the Alberta Children's Hospital or to the STARS Air Ambulance Foundation. Arrangements by Simply Cremations & Funeral Services, No. 103, 3424 - 27 Street N.E., Calgary, Alberta.
