SIMMONS Elizabeth (nee Fisk) April 11, 1916 - May 26, 2006 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Fisk-Simmons suddenly on Friday, May 26, 2006 at The Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg. She is predeceased by her daughter Susan (Foster Bradley); husbands, Vernon Simmons and James Houston; and her grandson John Christopher. Her memory will be cherished by her son Peter (Elizabeth); brother Jim (Susan); granddaughters, Elizabeth (Steadman), Christine and Katherine; and great-grandchildren as well as her extended family and friends. She had a full and energetic life. A Funeral Mass is to be held at St. Michael & All Angels, 300 Hugo Street North at Mulvey in Winnipeg, Manitoba at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2. Elizabeth will be cremated and re-join her husband, Vernon, in St. Jude's Anglican Church Memorial Garden, Oakville, Ontario this fall. Donations to St. Michael & All Angels, the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
