ARMOUR Leslie (Les) Alfred Leslie (Les) Alfred Armour, aged 83 years, of Airdrie, passed away suddenly at his residence on June 14, 2006. He is the beloved husband of Margaret; a dear father and father-in-law of Heather and John Gulka, of Buck Lake, AB, Darlene and Vern Schiedt, of Airdrie, Randy and Linda Armour, of Calgary, Bonnie and Darwin Treichel, of Calgary, Leslie and Wally Murray, of Airdrie, and Rob of Calgary. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, his special pal Scooby Doo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Les was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. He was a native Calgarian and joined the City of Calgary Municipal Railway as a streetcar conductor in 1948 and retired as a Superintendent of Passenger Services in 1981, with Calgary Transit.
