CHARBONNEAU, Mary Alexandrine (nee Fraser) - In loving memory of Mary Alexandrine Charbonneau (nee Fraser), 75 years, who passed away surrounded by family on Monday, June 19, 2006 at her residence in Sudbury. Beloved wife of Laurent “Larry“ Charbonneau of Sudbury. Loving mother of Robert of Sudbury, Richard (wife Eila) of Thunder Bay, Paulette (husband Richard Telenko) of Hanmer, Denise Toner of Orillia, Daniel (wife Katherine) of Edmonton, AB, Joanne Fiacconi and Laurent Jr. (partner Liette) both of Sudbury. Cherished memere of 17 grandchildren Denis, Rejeanne, Michael, Krysta, Casey, Shane, Sarah, Brigitte, Corey, Christopher, Kyle, Gabrielle, Manon, Stephanie, Michelle, Jamie and Jonathan, and three great grandchildren Michael, Hunter and Kaydance. Daughter of the late James and Cora Fraser. Dear sister of Alexander (wife Monique) of Field, Cecile Ellis (husband Keith) of Sunridge, Rita Weller (predeceased), Beatrice Fraser of Ottawa and Russell of Hamilton. She will also be missed by her brother-in-law Paul Charbonneau (wife Anna) of Sudbury. Mary was an avid BINGO player well known at BINGO 1. She was also recognized as a seamstress and teacher of her craft and an accomplished knitter for her family possessing a great sense of colour and creativity. She was a feminist, independent and a great leader. Mary was always supportive and a great listener and loved to get down and dirty with her grandchildren. Though she may be gone, she shall live forever on in our hearts. Memorial mass will be held at St. Jean de Brebeuf Church, 26 Kathleen St., Sudbury on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation at ParkLawn Crematorium. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
