LALONDE, Raymond - The family announces with sorrow his death, in Sudbury, Sunday June 25th, 2006, at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Georges and of the late Aurore (née Bissonnette) Lalonde. Beloved husband of Irène Lalonde (née Fortin) of Sudbury. Loving father of Sylvia Chrétien (Ronald), Louise Paradis (Denis), Denis (friend Françoise) all of Sudbury and George (Joëlle) of Lively. Predeceased by his son Jean-Paul. Dear brother of Gaston (Béatrice) of Fournier, Éliane Lapensée (Jean-Claude) of Plantagenet, Monique Bellefeuille (Aurald), Gracia Kristoff (Dr. Frank) and Pauline St-Jean (Marcel) all of Montreal. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Céline (Marc), Nadia, Julie, André, Raymond and Nicholas. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Raymond was a kind and generous man who enjoyed volunteering for many organizations including the Red Cross. Mr. Lalonde was a member of the Knights of Colombus Council # 12047 La Toussaint, Sudbury. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., East (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Tuesday from 2-5 & 7-9:30pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday June 28th, 2006 at 11am in La Toussaint Church, Sudbury. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
