BYERS, Alice E. (nee Gannon) - In loving memory of Alice E. Byers (nee Gannon), 97 years, who passed away Monday evening, June 26th, 2006 at St. Joseph's Villa. Beloved wife of John G. Byers predeceased 1992. Loving mother of Ronald predeceased 2004 (wife Dorothy of Sudbury), Jacqueline Barnes (husband Morley) of Georgetown, Denis (wife Jean) and Paul both of Sudbury, Michael (wife Bonnie) of Fruitvale, B.C., and Timothy (wife Lori) of Vancouver, B.C. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. In the summer months, Alice could be found at her cottage on Long Lake and over the long winters, spent her time in Clearwater, Florida. “Every blade in the field, Every leaf in the forest, Lays down its life in its season, As beautifully as it was taken up“. A Memorial Service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Friday, June 30th, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Villa would be appreciated.
