LAHTI, Ronald, Gordon, Roy - In loving memory of Ronald Gordon Roy Lahti, 54 years of R.R. #3 Sudbury who passed away Wednesday evening June 28th, 2006 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's health Centre. Ron was born in Parry Sound and married Nicole (Duval) in Sudbury in 1970. Ron was a life resident of Sudbury. He was a self-employed electrician and motor rewinder for 30 years. He was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He had a great affinity for the outdoors having spent many happy times at his camp at Key Harbour. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his friends. He was devoted to his loving family especially his precious grandchildren. The light of Ron's life will continue to guide and inspire his family and many friends with the lessons of love and doing good deeds to others. He will be missed but never forgotten. Beloved husband of Nicole “Nicky“ (Duval) Lahti predeceased 2002. Loving father of Richard (Deborah) of Newmarket and Steven (Charmaine) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Devin, Austin and Cameron. Dear son of Helmi and Sam Lahti Sr., both predeceased. Dear brother of Elsie Bradley (husband Clayton) both predeceased, Miriam “Mimi“ (husband Raimo Kotila), Sam (wife Linda), Maggie (husband Andy Bite), Frances Heikki (husband Richard Korpi), Karl (wife Isobel) and Donnie (wife Karen). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in- law to Sue and Sylvio Rouleau and son-in- law to Molly Duval. Special friend to Gord and Stella Grenon and Pertti Juusela. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Service in St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 264 MacKenzie St., Sudbury Saturday, July 1st, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery, Sudbury.
