HAMM Ethan Wayne Robert February 5, 2006 - June 28, 2006 Baby Ethan passed away peacefully nestled between mommy (Erin) and daddy (Terry), June 28, 2006 at the IWK Health Center, Halifax. He has received his wings and became a special angel to his parents and big sister Ceilidh. He is also survived by maternal grandparents, Wayne and Barbara Tomm, Calgary, AB; auntie Jody, Calgary; uncle Ian and aunt Tammy, Revelstoke, B.C.; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Gale Hamm, Halifax; aunt Robin and uncle John, Halifax; and cousin Adam. Ethan has a long list of extended family that have also loved and cared for him during his short but meaningful life. A special thank you is sent to Leslie and Tanya who looked after Mommy and Daddy since Ethan was born, and to all the angels that worked in NICU at the IWK from doctors, nurses, RT's, social workers and support staff. A grateful thank you to Doctor K Jangard, Nurse Tanya, RT Jillian and social worker Nadia for making Ethan's passing as peaceful as possible. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Monday, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1725 Oxford Street, Halifax, Father James Mallon officiating.
