FINDLATER William James (Bill) 1925 - 2006 William James Findlater (Bill) passed away on July 2, 2006, after a short illness, at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Jean; four daughters, Helen Wallace, Pat (Tom) Goodwin, Colleen Mukoluk, Tracy Findlater; one son, Jim (Debra) Findlater; fourteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one brother Truman. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Sadie and James Findlater; daughter Linda; sons-in-law, John Van Geloven and Bill Wallace; and brothers, Gordon and Bernard. Born and raised in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Bill moved his family to Calgary in 1955 where he carried on in the plumbing trade. He worked as a plumber for over forty years. He was also a World War II artillery veteran and a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Calgary Branch No. 1. Memorial Services will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (corner of Macleod Trail and Lake Fraser Gate) on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. A Reception will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Tuxedo Park Community Centre, 202 - 29 Avenue N.E.
