ARMIENTO, Frank - In loving memory of Frank Armiento, who passed away peacefully on July 3, 2006, with his family by his side. He was a most beloved husband to his wife and life partner Palma. They would have celebrated their 49th anniversary this September. Cherished father to Michael (wife Nancy) of Cumberland Md, James (wife Patricia) of Aylmer, Quebec, and Dora (husband Joe Raymond) of Sudbury. Devoted Nonno of Frank, Christina, Laura, Sarah, Joey, Jason, and Jeff. Dear son of Michael and Addolorata Armiento, both predeceased and brother of Maria Allen of Toronto. Beloved Zio to many nieces and nephews. Frank was born in Sudbury on November 10, 1924. He moved to Italy with his parents at a young age but returned to Canada in 1951. He worked for the INCO Copper Refinery for 32 years retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Caruso Club and a member of the Cavalieri Della Patria. Frank was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was an artist, a gardener, an inventor, and most importantly a humanitarian who always helped all those around him. In his final days,he weathered his illness with humour, strength and courage. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, 30 Beech St., Sudbury, Thursday, July 6th, 2006 at 10 a.m. Entombment in the Civic Mausoleum. Prayers 3 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
