DURRANT Patricia May 1919 - 2006 It is with sadness that the family of Pat Durrant announces her peaceful passing on July 15, 2006 at their summer cabin at Wapiti Gardens. Pat was born in London, England and arrived in Canada in 1938. She is survived by her husband John (Jack) of sixty-six years; and their son Jack (Charlene); three grandchildren, David (Raelene), Rodney (Teresa) and Roxanne (Tony Mazzaro) who have given us seven great-grandchildren, Ashlie, Atayia, Talon, Zack, Sidney Hannah, Matthew and Madison. She also has two sisters in England and many nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her son Constable Alec Durrant (RCMP) and his wife Carol in 1971. The family would like to give sincere thanks to Dr. Brenda Millar and Dr. Campbell for their care and support throughout the past several years. Also the 911 Emergency Ambulance Service and the RCMP group from the Beaverlodge area. Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Oliver's Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church, Grande Prairie, AB with Rev. Peter Strzelecki officiating.
